Yamagata Guesthouse is located at Link Murayama, a community hub that was created from a disused high school building. The purpose of Link Murayama is to bring together various members of the community in a space that can be freely used by everyone. As such its a great place to hang out and meet local people. You might find yourself sharing a kitchen space, not just with other travelers, but with the local grandmothers too!
